So in summary, you create the driver profile etc etc as you get your new car, then go to uvo and activate the app/uvo (gets email/code etc), then go back to your driver profile and link which send another code to your phone. With the announcements of the 2019 kia optima, 2019 kia sorento and 2019 kia soul, kia has changed these up. The official kia has closed the free update.
From the app, if i hit refresh, i don't get a reply. The app requires a paid subscription on higher tiers that include services such as “remote climate” and roadside assistance. You will need your vehicle identification number (vin) to complete enrollment.
The remote start is under climate control. The vehicle will update the app when you sync the uvo system with your phone. Also i can not activate the uvo from the car!
What type of uvo systems are there? App just says no response from vehicle. Can someone throw off the update file?
Try deleting the phone app, (or at least forcing it closed) and reinstall (or reopen). Where can i download the new firmware for sd card? Apple carplay and android auto.
Communication antenna is, but the activation does not work. Make sure your doors are locked or lock using the app, then click set climate, set temp and finally click start climate and telly should start. I have uvo link equipped vehicle but then i am not able to access uvo link features.
